We regret to inform you that due to industrial action by Janitorial staff our let from Glasgow City Council has been cancelled and the 3-6 BOSCA sessions will not be able to run on Wednesday 4th and Friday 6th May 2016. Please note Bosca will also be closed on Thursday 5th May due to the election.
We will be able to run our morning BOSCA session as normal in the church on Wednesday and Friday. We apologise for the short notice however we have only just be informed ourselves.
Please see below a message from the BOSCA Board –
To all BOSCA parents from the BOSCA Board – 2nd May 2016
As a gesture of goodwill to our fellow BOSCA families the BOSCA board has agreed to waive fees for the Wednesday 4th and Friday 6th May after-school BOSCA service – should the current industrial dispute lead to this service being cancelled.
We know that BOSCA families have to make alternative arrangements for childcare when BOSCA is cancelled and we hope that our gesture will help to make this easier.
It is possible that the current dispute will lead to further BOSCA closures over the coming months. Unfortunately we cannot commit to waiving BOSCA fees in the future – we have wages and other costs that we must pay even if BOSCA is cancelled. In line with our terms and conditions we may have to revert to charging full fees in the event of further closures.
On behalf of the BOSCA Management Board
