As the better weather is coming in we are getting the children’s opinion about indoor and outdoor toys and equipment. The Bungalow has also had a Spring clean. Please pay us a visit and see some of our new wall displays.
We are seeing an increasing number of tablets, phones and DS Consoles being brought to Bosca for gaming. We are seeking your opinion on the use of these devices at BOSCA.
Please can you email us your thoughts;
Would you like to see them banned?
Are you happy with your child bringing their own device and using it whenever they please?
Would you like to see a time restriction imposed on devices brought in?
As these devices come with a camera we ask that the children use them in the Hall and do not take photographs with them or make recordings. As a matter of child protection we will ask children who are not using their device to return it to their school bag and not carry it on their person. We would also like to remind you that gaming at Bosca must be age appropriate and if your child has an app or game with an age restriction that is not 7 or under then we would ask that they do not play. These are the same guidelines we follow with games for the DS and the Wii.
Below is a reminder from our User Guide
MOBILES / GAMES CONSOLES
- Children are not permitted to use mobile phones at BOSCA for anything but game playing.
- Children are made aware of the rules regarding phones etc and these will be confiscated until home time if they use them to take photos
- Phones, iPads will only be used in the hall
- Children who bring their own phones, games consoles, iPads etc are solely responsible for them
- You may contact each other on our phone at any time
