Our Spring Playscheme was well attended; the children seemed to have had a great time as we had lots of positive feedback. The children helped to make some playscheme posters with quotes and photographs of what they were up to; these are displayed on our notice board. As predicted the weather meant we needed to make a few changes to what we were doing at the last minute.
Please can we remind all families that the Bosca doors open for the children at 8.30am. Staff members arriving before this time do so to be briefed on the day ahead. They can let you in to the foyer however adults must stay with the children until the internal door opens at 8.30am.
The Bosca phone number 07815007657 will be displayed on the main door during Summer playscheme. If you arrive to drop off or collect your child between 9am and 5pm and there is not a Bosca person there to let you in please call the number and a member of staff will come to the door.

This list includes those who currently attend and those who have had their name on the waiting list for a number of years who are due to start Primary 1 in August 2018. If your child will reduce their attendance for the next term please speak to me asap.
We have increased the number of employed staff to allow for students to go on placements, staff holidays and absences. We say goodbye to Cheryl and welcome Courtney, Erin and Hannah.
Staff training is ongoing Cheryldean, Susan and Winnie and I have all renewed our first aid training. All staff members are updating their Health and Safety modules and are completing online training modules from the care inspectorate on the Duty of Candour. The purpose of the new duty of candour provisions is to support the implementation of consistent responses across health and social care providers. This is very informative for the staff and useful for updating our policy documents. If you would like any further information on this please do get in touch.
I will be going on holiday from Wednesday 16th May – 31st May 2018. Please use the Bosca number to speak to the staff team 07815 007 657.
